For a comprehensive list of things that automatically run, get Autoruns from
sysinternals.com.  It covers many more possibilities than Mike Lin's
startup.cpl.

Hmmmm, they don't appear in Task Manager.

Good suggestion - nothing appears via Mike Lin's StartUp Control utility so
I will
keep looking.
