Hi Jim,

In general I have found that M/B that appear to support only one 
floppy are supplied with a cable that has only two connectors.  I 
have on occasions used a cable with three connectors with these 
boards, and had dual floppy support, even though only one shows up in 
the bios.   I suspect that the cost saving is simply down to a 
shorter cable and one less connector !!
