Ya gotta know what driver to install for the audio chip/adapter.
Look on the web for your motherboard's specs, look in your owner's manual,
anything to get the correct audio chip info so you can get the driver
working.

Next, you may have a funky audio chip if your audio is the onboard type.
Try adding an audio card if you got one.
Can you give us the motherboard type and manufacturer if possible.
That would help us help you find a driver.
Sounds like the driver you have is corrupted or the wrong one.

Speech
Text to Speech
Voice Selection
Microsoft Sam
Preview Voice

Error message:
  The voice cannot be played.
  Select different audio output.


Press Audio Output
  There is no audio output devices currently installed.
