How to get audio driver working?
Do you have a sound card or "built in" MB sound.
What program to download?
Depends on above. You need a driver package.
Doesn't Win XP have this built in?
I did one XP-Pro-SP2-OEM-system builder(full)
install recently with integrated audio on the MB.
No sound "OOB". ("out of the box" )
An XP-Pro-SP2-FPP install had sound "OOB"
with a slightly older chipset) YMMV...
In the first case, I went to the MB WEB site, looked up
my model, and got the correct drivers there.
There is no audio output devices currently installed.
This is what I get when there were no audio drivers installed.
