Mozilla Thunderbird (www.mozilla.org/thunderbird) or Forte FreeAgent
(www.forteinc.com/agent), the free, less-fully featured version of their
Agent newsreader. There's no separate download for Free Agent. When you
download Agent you can use all the features for 30 days. If you don't
register in that time, it will become "Free Agent" by losing some
features. It's still a *very* useable newsgroup reader.
