Darn DVDs and vmware images take up GB of space... there's no room for mp3's. :)

You think that's bad you ought to try working with streaming mpeg as in 1080i HDTV as 45min of video takes up any where form 6 to 8gb & that's already as trimmed as it can get. I can't wait for HD-DVD & no I don't want BluRay mostly because it's Sony backed technology. People thought they were confused with the differences between DVD-R & DVD+R. Just tonight I had a chiropractor tell me "but my Magnavox is only a couple of months old" when he couldn't play a DVD-R disk. It's not the age of the player but whether it has the capability built in or not just as some players can NOT play PAL [european] disks. I've only told him several times to go to <http://www.videohelp.com/players> & key in the make & model to determine if the player can accept recordables or not & if so what kind of recordables so not only is video playback going to be a nightmare it is for the supposed learned as well. It just goes to show you that college grads can be just as lazy & stupid as anyone else.
