Yes.
I don't have a SATA HD at this time and would like to know if it is

the SATA enabled or should it be disabled?
It's ok to leave it enabled as all it will do is use some system
resources saving an IRQ & a tiny bit of memory.
FWIW my HDs are SATA but the optical drives are all PATA. I believe
only Plextor makes a SATA DVD burner at this time all tho I'm not
sure it's worth the extra money.
