I didn't have any trouble loading the SATA drivers while installing
XP, just don't understand why the BIOS doesn't "see" the SATA
drive. But, I don't understand how this stuff really works
anyway. It was just a surprise to me that a 2006 MB needed drivers
to see what I understand to be current technology HD.
More than likely the drivers are only for windows & the SATA drives
have already been read otherwise the drivers wouldn't install at all.
