Thunderbird - For address book, open the Address Book, then > Tools >
Export. Not sure about the messages. Can you save them individually in
a folder, and then burn them to a CD or DVD? You might try Google.
There is a program oebw.exe which does what you want for Outlook Express
(and also copies rules (filters). I used it recently (because it was
from a really old machine I emailed the messages to a hotmail or yahoo
account, and then opened them to the new machine).

Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
