Thanks Rick, but nothing going on there either and nothing shows in the Task
Manager, just a bunch of processes running. I guess I will have to try to
work the suggestions from Rob if I can figure it out. I even went in and
unticked everything in Startup tab and rebooted. Didn't help.

Look in the Scheduled Tasks, if you haven't already, and see if there is an
entry there that is running every 30 seconds.
