Well, I guess that's possible. But I have no problem in IE, so I doubt it's my ISP. Nothing else is slowed down. And I can download a huge file in no time at all. It's just as slow with an ethernet cable as wireless. I think something is filtering or scanning the page downloads, but I don't know what, since I haven't changed anything on my system.

A next step might be to run the software package that came from your
ISP/network vendor to test the connection.  Either that or call their
support network and have them do that.  If you're using a wireless
hook up, you might try changing its channel by adding or subtracting
6 from it (ie, if 11 then go to 5, if 3 then go to 9).
