Hello Pete,

Basically "Yes"  Win95 and 98 will require a driver for the USB part and 
if you are lucky the bios will recognise the device as bootable if you 
should make it so !

In answer to your second question, you pays your money so take your 
pick !  Most are quite reasonable !  Some are just downright 
expensive !  Anything USB2 will do what you want.!
