Hi all,

Until very recently, I used to use Eudora as an e-mail client. I also used
Microsoft Outlook but as the store for the contacts from my cell phone. I
have switched to Microsoft Outlook as an e-mail client and now find myself
in the predicament of my own making.

I regularly synchronise my mobile phone with my PC using the supplied
software namely PC suite from Nokia. After my switch to Outlook, I did the
synchronisation and now, my e-mail contacts and my phone contacts have
merged. I would like to keep the two separate. Yes, there are some common
contacts who I call an e-mail regularly but in the majority of cases, my
e-mail contacts are different for my phone contacts. Also, by mobile phone
at the moment has 632 contacts which makes it very difficult to search for a
contact when I want to call that contact.

One way to fix the situation is that I write a macro and Outlook and move
all contacts having a phone number to a separate folder. However, when I
synchronise my contacts, I would be faced with the same situation. I would
still like to keep synchronising my phone with Outlook without mixing my
e-mail and phone contacts.

Anyone any ideas on how to do this?

Pranav
