Hi Bill,
Stick a decent antenna on it ! Ideally as high and as central as
possible ! Dead easy to make one..... Bet you could do it for a few
dollars, say Five at the most ! Remember 3db gain is a doubling of
the signal, and a dipole gives 2.4 dbi. Put one on each end and you
will make the connection easily !!
