re-WEP the **NEW** card.  The old card can still connect in just fine, 
but I can't connect in with the new card.

Ah, that's a clever idea: I could set up a *NEW* network on my old card 
with regmon working (might as well run filemon, too), and see if that 
gives me some hint about where the information is going...
