This is just a guess given I haven't done much messing around with video
under Win4Lin, but I believe a lot of video codecs make DirectX calls
for playback, and will not work terribly well under Win4Lin.
I could be terribly wrong, of course. I still tend to use native Windows
for video and sound editing.
