Yes, my modem uses ttyS1 (com2) as it is a pcmcia modem, but my serial port 
uses ttyS0 (com1).
By the way yesterday I succeded in connecting my plam craddle to Jpilot and 
Kpilot using ttyS0, but win4lin continues to give me the error:

IA_FAIL_W:dos: WARNING:'com1' is not available. Device 
'/var/win4lin/mrgdev/ppi/com1' is in use or has incorrect permission

What can I do?
