Hello,
I wanted to connect win4lin 3 with my serial port in order to synchronize
Outlook with my pilot.
But when I start win4lin I recive that error:
IA_FAIL_W:dos: WARNING:'com1' is not available. Device
'/var/win4lin/mrgdev/ppi/com1' is in use or has incorrect permission
I checked and the config for the portis right (same as the one i have in
win2k, where it works)
I do not know is it is a win4lin problme or I have some problmes with my com1.
I tried to connect the pilot with jpilot, connecting it to ttyS0, but I
received an error too.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I remember using Outlook under win4lin 2 and synchronizing it with no problem
(except that it was slow)
Do you know if it is possible to use IR under win4lin?
