I've just downloaded the evaluation version of Win4Lin and bought the
downloadable version (just before the price increase!) and installed a
patched 2.2.17 kernel on my roll-your-own (LFS) Linux system.

The installation instructions tell me to check in /proc/ksyms that my kernel
has been updated correctly - but I have no ksyms in /proc. I've got the
/proc filesystem enabled - there are other things in there like cpuinfo etc,
but no ksyms.

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get a /proc/ksyms? Should I
not worry and go ahead and install Win4Lin anyway?

Steve
