Thanks for the suggestion (and to others who replied.) The thing is at some
point soon I want to essentially start over as I don't like the partitioning at
the moment, so I would prefer to just install 7.0. Not urgent so I may just
wait until Trelos/Netraverse make a kernel for...
I did patch the SuSE 6.4 kernel. It took me a few tries to get it right, but
it works fine now. I've even recompiled to allow an external parellel port
tape drive to work without losing Win4Lin. I only have a single processor
though so haven't tried the SMP version.
