There is a very cheap add on for NVDA called Vmouse. I am not sure if that
will help. It costs £2.99 I think.
It might be worth looking at.
It is the from the same people who do the Vturbo enhancement for NVDA which
also adds functionality. I believe this is also about £2.99.
The useful thing about Vturbo is that you can set up application specific
settings. So if you have a self voicing application like Kurzweil for
example it can save an NVDA setting to automatically turn speech off whilst
Kurzweil is running.

You'll have no problem with that software assuming NVDA can access it of
course.

Gordon's machine is mouse-dependent and we really are trying to avoid
installing Window-Eyes again. In fact, we are going over to Windows 8 very
shortly and Window-Eyes will be out of the mix anyway since we flatly refuse
to pay $199.00 for an "Upgrade". Having been using NVDA for some time now
we think it's only fair to donate to the project. So we've done that rather
than put our money into Window-Eyes for another bout of rip-offs.
