I am new to this list. We are working to implement wireless connectivity on the University of Michigan – Flint (www.umflint.edu) campus for students. We are working to develop a plan for the level of Helpdesk and technical support that we are going to provide to the students. Any feedback that you could provide regarding the following questions would be greatly appreciated:
Do you provide installation instructions? If so, would you be willing to provide a URL for us to view them at?
Do you install wireless cards for your students?
Do you provide FAQ's?
To what extent do you provide helpdesk phone and/or walk-in support for: Installation? Maintenance?
Do you recommend a specific wireless card? If so what brand(s)?
What security measures have you taken?
