I hope this is an appropriate place to post this...if not, my apologies in
advance.

We have not yet deployed wireless at our law school but are in the planning
stages. I had a WAP here last week to test (a Cisco 1200 series, but I think
it's irrelevant). A student with a Dell TrueMobile 1400 WLAN (a/b/g)
integrated card tells me he is unable to stay connected for more than about
15 minutes at a time. This is true no matter where he goes - a couple
locations on campus have wireless installed, with different WAP vendors,
plus he has wireless at home, and he drops after 15 minutes or so in each. I
noticed this on my laptop as well and coincidently, we have the exact same
system with the same card.

He contacted Dell support who had him download a newer driver. No difference
in behavior.

Anyone know what's wrong and more importantly, is this something I should be
aware of before we move forward next summer?
