That failed, but I then tried taking a sledge hammer to it and commented
out the entry for the 2.4G network from wpa_supplicant.conf and that
worked! Unfortunately, performance is still terrible. Using speedtest.org,
I get only 30M down and 41 up. My phone, on the same SSID, gets 416M down
and 41 up. No idea why my download speed is so bad. Clearly, this is not
ideal as I can't connect from most of my back yard.
Here is the ifconfig:
What does
sysctl compat.linuxkpi.80211.wlan0
say when you are asociated and while you are running the speedtest.
That'll give you (and us) ideas what the card firmware and the AP think.
