Some things fixed a couple of issues I've had.
1. I can now associate with a 5g network even though a 2.4g is available.
It also shows up in "list aps" output.

2. Using the same router that would only associate with TKIP, now AES-CCM
works with no issues.
So two issues seem to be fixed.
Sorry, how did this get fixed? Did your router get a firmware upgrade?
Still a problem with poor download speeds. Using either Ookla Speedtest or
iperf3, I get excellent upload speed (100M on my Frontier connection) but
only 40M download. I get faster upload on my lan, but download still is
limited to about 40M.
I've seen similar issues using a TP-Link Archer C<n> at a place while I was
on the road the last 6 weeks. Was on a 100Mbit Ethernet internal (*)/external
and upload was "100%" while download was limited.
Doing a test between two wireless nodes I got about 200Mbit/s each way on
that box (which was faster than the ethernet).
The same laptops do 800Mbit/s on an AP at home.
That said, yes, download speeds are still a bit slower even on iperf in the
Lab, especially for TCP, but 40Mbit/s are sub 11n.

(*) the router fell over and restarted when I plugged a 2.5G ethernet in.
