Avoid the temptation to get one of the handheld aaronia ones. They lack the
resolution, accuracy, and fast sweep times to be effective with high speed data
radios. I currently use and older tektronix analyzer, I think it is 0 to 18
GHz, and even though it weighs as much as a honda civic it does the job well
and can be found for a few thousand on ebay.
What is your budget?

Subject: [WISPA] spectrum analyzers

I work for a rural telco/isp doing more and more wireless all the time
and have reached the point where we need a spectrum analyzer of our own.

We've got two kinds of 700mhz, 5.8 backhauls, 11 ghz backhauls going in,
and a big 1.9/2.1 project underway.

Bet you guys have lots of good advice.

Thanks in advance.

Ned
