Pat...all consumer satellite internet is asymetrical. Business class, government and broadcast have serious QoS and a small contention ratio over the TDM/TDMA channels they use. Wild Blue/HNS etc use very high contention ratios which results in slow service and they have to charge users who use what they consider to be "excess capacity. Transition the customers to a solid LOS radiolink when you can.
