If I'm a water company the more water I sell the better. If I'm an electric company the more electricity I sell the better.
So, how is this Netflix/Tivo deal a bad thing for an ISP? I see this as simply more pressure on the ISP industry as a whole to increase prices and/or move to a consumption model no different than the aforementioned.
