One of the electric companies I worked for, I did just that. We used BPL for backhaul and used an AP to catch the local area subscribers. It was great, especially when there are LOS issues. Of course, that was what Amperion's BPL product was all about. Obviously, the same hybrid concept also works on a smaller scale such as a motel. -RickG
