The biggest problem with all this, is that dictionaries use old 
definitions... and the definition of a dynamic political ideology is bound 
to change.

I'm far closer to the "definition" quoted, and yet, today, nobody would 
dream of calling me a "liberal".

This makes conversations a lot harder.

And tempers a lot hotter.
