On a somewhat related note, does anyone here use open source packet shaping solutions?
I've only used Packeteer in production (enterprise environment), but I'm always on the lookout for good other solutions. Right now, I'm using BSD-based pfSense at home, and that seems to be working great. Others I know are just using OpenBSD proper and just putting it in transparent mode.
