The solar panels look just like the $79.00 Northern ones. I am curious how they built the "PVC" frame. Not a bad deal considering it also has the controller *AND* an inverter you could keep in the truck to power your laptop charger. 60 watts is probably overkill for most of our applications except Marlon's. :-)
You could even wire the four of them series/parallel to get 24V for a long CAT5 run. This stuff has really come down in price the past few months thanks to the Northern/Home Depot/Harbor Freight Chinese importers. This IS a deal maker for those remote repeater sites some of us have been contemplating. Yes Marlon, you CAN solar power a site for less than $500.00 if you're willing to do some creative work. Gotta love it.
