To test for metal perform this experiment in a microwave that is not
owned by you. (that last part is key!)

Spray on paper plate, allow to dry, place in microwave for 10 seconds.
Press start.

Sparks? There is metal in that there paint.
No Sparks? Pretty sure it is free of metal!
