I've used the liquid tape but never in the cold. What's happened to the vulcanizing tape? Some use a top coat of regular vinyl tape so that it doesn't weather.

Temp was around 20 degrees. What do you use to water seal a connection in cold weather (30* or colder)? N connector specifically. This is something that needs to be done on top of a tower - need to replace a radio and would prefer to not have to bring the antenna down to do it and don't have another antenna that we could use to replace this one with.
