I wouldn't go with a panel antenna at that range. A 12 mile shot isn't that far, really, I have a 12 mile shot just using the 27dbi AirGrid but that's single polarity. I'm working on a 15 mile shot right now and wouldn't consider a panel but am going for the Rocket Dish. I have better luck with a parabolic type antenna be it grid or dish.
