You got me thinking....being on a public streetlight I doubt it would pass code without a UL stamp.
But by the time I get the adapter, both ends of the Bulgin, the cable, and the power supply I can buy the FP-288 http://www.midsouthglobal.net/FPOwl.htm which is 24VDC out. Then I can just use the standard RJ45 weatherproof connector kit. Less hassle to be sure. The only downside is that I can't get to the PSU - have to replace the whole adapter. - Jerry From: wireless-boun...@wispa.org [mailto:wireless-boun...@wispa.org] On Behalf Of Scott Reed Sent: Sunday, March 06, 2011 2:18 PM To: WISPA General List Subject: Re: [WISPA] 110 input for ARC enclosure Actually, right after sending the last e-mail, I thought, the weatherproofing may be the problem. Yes it is all metal inside, but the 2 pieces are not bonded to each other when you put in the gasket. No way to ensure a low resistance connection between the box and the back of the antenna. And in many places, without a UL or similar rating, the local electrical inspector won't like it if he finds it. On 3/6/2011 5:10 PM, Jerry Richardson wrote: Why wouldn't it be?
