Just because it's available to them doesn't mean they're aware of it. I'm almost certain people don't check before switching to 4G. They see it's 50 mbps and faster than your WISP's 5 or 10 mbps and then get stuck in a contract for 2 years. I put it on the bill so they see it every time they click on their invoice.
I should mention most customers are automatically billed, so while they do get their bill via email, they may choose to simply ignore it.
