Mathew, these are for 2. GHz Rockets. I was wondering about the shielding as well. Unless you're in an area with a ton of interference... But as was mentioned, the KP omni with the shielding is the same price basically as the same UBNT model without it. I'm all about using stuff that's included at no additional charge :)
