We found when using Tripplite UPS the battery would eventually go dead. The UPS would use battery power to boost the voltage, but remain on battery for a period of time (about a minute) to ensure the voltage would be stable. About the time it switched back we would get another drop. It never had time to recharge. The problem at the site was a phase was dropping.
