Hello All from a sunny (a rare event this Summer!) Southern England. I have a wireless network running OK, based on a Linksysys WAP54G AP and a Linksys WUSB54G on a desktop PC and a 3COM 11Mbps 3CRWE62092B PCMCIA Card in a laptop PC.
I wanted to do some more configuration on the WAP (i.e. disable SSID broadcast), but I cannot access it using IE6 and entering 192.168.1.245 as described in the handbook. IE 6 appears to be looking on the web for this IP address, yet obviously it is a local (via the Ethernet wired network) source, so it does not find the WAP54G AP. Does anyone have suggestions to help me access it? Thanks in advance, Bev ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo!
