DNS services do not come with XP pro, and Xp Pro can only run one true
WEB server, WHY MS want you to pay for one of their real server
salution!

DNSing can be done from outside sources,
DNSedit.com I think
ZoneEdit.com frist 5 domain are free
for sure and there are a couple other's

The 3 or 4 I have found myself all are straight forward and easy to
setup.
And will point IP and port back to your server

Subject: Witango-Talk: DNS Server on XP Pro

I was thinking about setting up a web server using XP Pro.
XP Pro comes w/ IIS, and Witango should run on it w/o any problems.

Does anyone know how (or if) to set up a DNS Server on XP Pro?

Thanks,
