I don't do that any more, but have done that before. You just have to
watch out for any platform specific code, like any external actions
that are windows only, or file paths, where you don't use the witango
path commands, but use a full path, like "\\fs1\somedir\somefile"
Our new php env has remote debugging, so its not necessary, but one
thing we have on our old witango dev environment as you have seen, is
a staging server that updates automatically on SVN commit. So its a
bit more work, but still works good when away, you commit, test,
alter code, commit, test, and work that way.
