I have been aware of the eclipse studio development since ~September. Did not try the beta and probably will wait until after the webinar below before trying it. Zend says the current Studio 5.5 will be maintained for awhile. I think this is because although the new eclipse version has some compelling new features, it is not as feature complete as Studio 5.5.

There is a free "Getting Started with Zend Studio for Eclipse" webinar on:
Wednesday, February 6, 2008 9:00 am
Pacific Standard Time (GMT -08:00, San Francisco)

https://zend.webex.com/zend/onstage/g.php?d=578668800&t=a.

You must pre-register.

I just saw this a few minutes ago, didn't know they were moving this way. But it looks like the zend studio is moving from java to eclipse. I believe it was Bill that talked about doing that with witango many moons ago. I will be interested to see how they handle the remote debugging and stuff.

Wow, looks pretty darn cool. With my license, I guess I get it free, comes in versions native for Mac, linux, and Win.

Ben, did you know this was going to be in Eclipse?
