Apple has also released an updated version of Java for Lion. Would be a good idea to update.
I have been able to run a previously installed (snow leopard) Witango 6.0.7 server under Lion (Lion clean install, apps and computer settings transferred) after re-running the InstallWitango script). I also ran the Java for Lion installer, too. Not sure what would have happened with a fresh install of Witango server however. My guess is that you must make sure that Java is installed on Lion before attempting an install, just to be on the safe side.
