Category: CustomActions Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: sgoodij (sgoodij) >Assigned to: Scott Kurtzeborn (scotk) Summary: CAQuietExec's timeout is not configurable in deferred CA Initial Comment: CAQuietExec has a default 1 minute timeout. This value can be changed by setting the QtExecCmdTimeout property, which wonât work with a deferred custom action. I think the timeout should have a value of INFINITE instead of 1 minute; itâs not uncommon to have long custom actions. If I want to stop a process from executing for too long, then I should be able to specify it, else it runs for as long as it needs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=642714&aid=1358309&group_id=105970 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
