Hello: I read the post on data driven custom actions but I feel my case is a little different from the one there. Since the name of my MSI can be anything (which I dont know when I am creating the MSI) and the users who are going to install the MSI are not aware of custom table (all they know is I have an MSI that installs something on my machine) I feel it will be difficult for me to use data driven custom actions.
I have a set of predefined names in my MSI and if the name of the MSI is something else I have a default action defined for it. So will you suggest me to use "OriginalDatabase" property or is there an alternative?
