If you'd prefer, the mailing list is mirrored in a newsgroup, which is how I use it. Despite my gentle suggestions this fact has never made it onto the WiX site, and you basically had to be on the list at the time this functionality was added to know about it.
Server: news.gmane.org Port: 119 Group: gmane.comp.windows.devel.wix.user I believe there's also a secure version at snews.gmane.org but at some point it suffered connection problems (a long time ago) and I switched back to the normal version.
