Brian, Thanks for that, it fixed the problem. I reduced the number of components by increasing the number of files per component (that was a tedious job :)). It's now installing and uninstalling fine.
The help was much appreciated - I've been bashing my head on the wall for weeks trying different things to fix this problem.
