Definitely a major requirement for us too. There is a great scripting tool by Jasper Smith called RSScripter (http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=62) that extracts selected folders, datasource, reports, etc from an RS server and generates script for deployment with the RS.EXE command line tool.
We currently just run this manually as part of our product install process but I had thought we would eventually use a custom action to execute the script from Wix although this is not optimal it's probably the best we can do at present. Jasper Smith might be interested in generating Wix XML from his tool that will then execute actions equivalent to what RS.EXE does. Better still M$ could codeplex the RS.EXE code and save a lot of work for others.
