Why does your application need a user's credentials?
If your application needs to do something that requires a specific
privelege, create an account that has interactive logins disabled that
has the necessary priveleges.
Generally, administrators are wary of installing applications that ask
for credentials and for good reason. It introduces a potential
security vulnerability and also introduces unnecessary coupling to
those credentials.
